the INVAYA experience from Sigrid & Fred
Sigrid and Fred didn’t want a traditional wedding. They were
after something way more meaningful. Think connection,
adventure, and moments their guests (and them) would
never forget. So together with INVAYA, they planned an 8-
day (!!) journey through Morocco that was full of surprises,
emotion, and once-in-a-lifetime memories. Also for us!

8-day wedding experience | 60 guests | 4 venues
It all started in Marrakech, where guests were met at the
airport, their bags taken care of, and driven in private
transfers to the beautiful Villa des Orangers. For the next few
days, this boutique hotel became their home. Every room
had curated gift bags, handwritten notes, a schedule of the
days ahead, and even spa appointments waiting for them.
They wandered through the medina with private guides,
joined hidden foodie tours, and completely relaxed with
traditional hammam rituals. Sunset welcome drinks on the
rooftop came with snake charmers, cocktails, and golden
light. The night ended with poolside food, live music, and
heartfelt speeches that set the tone for the days to come.

Days 1 to 4
The next morning kicked off with a sunrise hot air balloon ride
over the Palmeraie. Then it was time to head into the desert.
At Scarabeo Camp, guests arrived to the sounds of a
traditional Gnawa band, sipped mint tea, and had lunch
under the open sky. The afternoon was packed with desert
adventures. IT WAS AMAZING! Camel rides, quad bikes,
mountain biking, poolside lounging, and after dark,
stargazing with a telescope and an astronomer. Dinner that
night was next-level. Lanterns glowing overhead, live music,
tajines, belly dancing, and stars everywhere you looked.

Days 4 to 5
Then it was off to the mountains for the final chapter. At the breathtaking Kasbah Tamadot, guests slowed down with henna ceremonies, tea rituals, bread-making, mule rides, and a cozy movie night under the stars. The wedding day felt like a film: vows by the reflecting pool, live music, a sweet ritual with dates and milk, and a symbolic broom jump. Dinner was a five-course feast with local flavors, emotional toasts, a surprise fire show, and a dance party that had everyone on their feet. The final night was all about gratitude: rooftop dining, handwritten notes at every seat, a surprise quiz night, and hugs all around. This INVAYA experience was, also for us, truly special.

Sigrid & Fred
Vivian and her team of INVAYA created the most incredible, heartfelt, and breathtaking wedding week we could have imagined in Morocco.
We first hired Vivian in May 2022 to help us plan our 2024 wedding. Over the next 2.5 years, she coordinated every detail with care, precision, and unwavering dedication, bringing to life a celebration more beautiful than anything we could have dreamed up on our own.
“the most incredible and breathtaking wedding week”
“From the start, Vivian made a point of truly getting to know us, not just our tastes, but our personalities and priorities. At the time, we had only a vague idea: we knew we wanted an adventure with our closest friends and family “somewhere in the world,” but we didn’t know what that would look like. Vivian guided us through every step of the process, beginning with a “grand tour” of possible locations across Europe and North Africa, all the way through to personally escorting guests to the airport at the end of the celebrations. No detail was ever too small for her attention, and she managed to be both clear and kind throughout, a rare and special balance.
In planning the wedding, Vivian built and led an extraordinary team: stylists, chefs, photographers, videographers, stationers, travel agents, and local vendors, all of whom helped bring her vision to life. She approached each task with astonishing organization, professionalism, and creative flair. Whether it was curating a wardrobe, planning food tastings, orchestrating hot air balloon rides and camel treks, or hiring musicians and stylists from across Europe, Vivian managed it all with grace and an incredible sense of calm.
A few months before our wedding, a devastating earthquake struck the village where our venue was located, requiring the entire week of events to be rescheduled. Vivian handled this with extraordinary empathy and composure. She showed genuine care for the local community and her colleagues there, even coordinating a visit for us to see the rebuilding site of a local school the day after our ceremony, an experience we will never forget.
Vivian was hands-on every step of the way, traveling to Morocco multiple times to ensure everything was in place. It was clear to us how much respect she earned from local vendors and how expertly she navigated logistics, always with kindness, a smile, and the right questions to minimize uncertainty.
One of our biggest hopes was to create a fully customized and intimate experience for our guests, and Vivian exceeded every expectation. She personally greeted each guest at the airport by name and arranged handmade gifts from local artisans. She memorized every food allergy and dietary need across the group and ensured that every single meal was not only safe but memorable. When a guest unexpectedly required hospitalization during the wedding week, Vivian helped to coordinate medical care, transportation, special meals, and follow-up support with compassion and efficiency. She went far beyond what anyone would expect of a planner; she was truly a lifeline.
What Vivian created was not just a beautiful wedding; it was a week of connection, joy, and transformation. She helped build a sense of community among our friends and family, many of whom had never met before. To this day, every guest reminds us that it was a “life-changing” experience, and all of them praise Vivian, as do we. We trust her deeply and have already hired her to plan our first anniversary party.
Vivian is a visionary, a master of logistics, and a truly kind human being. If you have the chance to work with her, take it. You’ll be in the best hands.”
