Some weddings just wrap you up in warmth from the start. Personal, easygoing, full of love. That’s exactly what Monique and Rino’s four-day celebration in Ibiza felt like. As their wedding planners by their side, they invited their closest people to the beautiful hills of Ibiza. Curious about their INVAYA experience?
An intimate Ibiza celebration with Monique & Rino
Guests arrived at the peaceful Can Curreu and were welcomed
with rosé cava and big smiles. That evening, they were taken
through the hills to A Mi Manera, a boho restaurant surrounded by
trees and twinkly lights. It was all about long tables, shared
plates, heartfelt speeches, and that exciting feeling in the air that
something beautiful was just beginning.
Sigrid and Fred didn’t want a traditional wedding. They were after something way more meaningful. Think connection, adventure, and moments their guests (and them) would never forget. So together with INVAYA, they planned an 8-day (!!) journey through Morocco that was full of surprises, emotion, and once-in-a-lifetime memories. Also for us!
4 days | 3 venues | 37 guests
The morning was quiet and calm. Poolside breakfast, slow moments in the
suites, and a few champagne toasts between Monique, Rino and their
loved ones. The ceremony took place under the palm trees, with their
three daughters walking ahead of them down the aisle. Monique and Rino
exchanged vows not with rings, but with bracelets they gave each other
and their girls. For sure, there were tears ;) Afterwards, the party started
with a cocktail hour, sax and DJ setting the mood. Then everyone moved
to the garden for an awesome three-course dinner. There were moving
speeches, live music, golden hour photos, and so much (more) emotion.
As the sun dipped, dessert was served, a delicate cake by Kiss That Cake,
and then their first dance to Tino Martin’s “I’m still standing.” The energy
kept building with a live set from Quido van der Graaff and Jennifer
Ewbank, sax, DJ, and a dance floor full of joy. Late-night snacks were the
cherry on top.
It all started in Marrakech, where guests were welcomed with private transfers to the beautiful Villa des Orangers. Their boutique home for the coming days, complete with curated gift bags, handwritten notes, and even spa appointments.
They explored the medina with private guides, joined secret foodie tours, and fully relaxed in traditional hammams. Sunset rooftop drinks came with snake charmers, cocktails, and golden light—followed by poolside dining, live music, and heartfelt speeches that set the tone for the days ahead.
Day 2
After a lazy breakfast, the day was all about relaxing. Some
guests chilled by the pool, others went horseriding through the
hills. By the afternoon, everyone came back together for a final
night out at the stylish TATEL Ibiza. Glamorous, upbeat, and
totally different from the countryside wedding vibe. Think
sparkle, music, and dancing late into the night.
The day started with a sunrise hot air balloon ride over the Palmeraie, followed by a journey into the desert. At Scarabeo Camp, guests were welcomed by a Gnawa band, sipped mint tea, and lunched under the open sky.
The afternoon was pure magic: camel rides, quad bikes, mountain biking, poolside lounging, and after dark—stargazing with a telescope and astronomer. Dinner was next-level: lanterns overhead, live music, tajines, belly dancing, and stars in every direction.
Day 3
Then it was off to the mountains for the final chapter. At the breathtaking Kasbah Tamadot, guests slowed down with henna ceremonies, tea rituals, bread-making, mule rides, and a cozy movie night under the stars. The wedding day felt like a film: vows by the reflecting pool, live music, a sweet ritual with dates and milk, and a symbolic broom jump. Dinner was a five-course feast with local flavors, emotional toasts, a surprise fire show, and a dance party that had everyone on their feet. The final night was all about gratitude: rooftop dining, handwritten notes at every seat, a surprise quiz night, and hugs all around. This INVAYA experience was, also for us, truly special.
Guests gathered for breakfast one more time, sharing hugs, stories,
and that last coffee in the sunshine (we love Ibiza!) Then came the
goodbyes, as the transfer buses pulled away. Some headed home,
others stayed to keep the adventure going.

Saying goodbye, with full hearts
Monique & Rino
We got married in Ibiza last year, we had a multi-day wedding with a small club of dear friends. Vivian arranged everything to perfection! We also flew to Ibiza with her beforehand, to see the venue, taste dinner. Vivian is really very good at her job! She even put our youngest daughter to bed during the party. Should we ever want to celebrate our anniversary, we will call Vivian right away!
“Vivian is really very good at her job! ”
“From the start, Vivian made a point of truly getting to know us, not just our tastes, but our personalities and priorities. At the time, we had only a vague idea: we knew we wanted an adventure with our closest friends and family “somewhere in the world,” but we didn’t know what that would look like. Vivian guided us through every step of the process, beginning with a “grand tour” of possible locations across Europe and North Africa, all the way through to personally escorting guests to the airport at the end of the celebrations. No detail was ever too small for her attention, and she managed to be both clear and kind throughout, a rare and special balance.
In planning the wedding, Vivian built and led an extraordinary team: stylists, chefs, photographers, videographers, stationers, travel agents, and local vendors, all of whom helped bring her vision to life. She approached each task with astonishing organization, professionalism, and creative flair. Whether it was curating a wardrobe, planning food tastings, orchestrating hot air balloon rides and camel treks, or hiring musicians and stylists from across Europe, Vivian managed it all with grace and an incredible sense of calm.
A few months before our wedding, a devastating earthquake struck the village where our venue was located, requiring the entire week of events to be rescheduled. Vivian handled this with extraordinary empathy and composure. She showed genuine care for the local community and her colleagues there, even coordinating a visit for us to see the rebuilding site of a local school the day after our ceremony, an experience we will never forget.
Vivian was hands-on every step of the way, traveling to Morocco multiple times to ensure everything was in place. It was clear to us how much respect she earned from local vendors and how expertly she navigated logistics, always with kindness, a smile, and the right questions to minimize uncertainty.
One of our biggest hopes was to create a fully customized and intimate experience for our guests, and Vivian exceeded every expectation. She personally greeted each guest at the airport by name and arranged handmade gifts from local artisans. She memorized every food allergy and dietary need across the group and ensured that every single meal was not only safe but memorable. When a guest unexpectedly required hospitalization during the wedding week, Vivian helped to coordinate medical care, transportation, special meals, and follow-up support with compassion and efficiency. She went far beyond what anyone would expect of a planner; she was truly a lifeline.
What Vivian created was not just a beautiful wedding; it was a week of connection, joy, and transformation. She helped build a sense of community among our friends and family, many of whom had never met before. To this day, every guest reminds us that it was a “life-changing” experience, and all of them praise Vivian, as do we. We trust her deeply and have already hired her to plan our first anniversary party.
Vivian is a visionary, a master of logistics, and a truly kind human being. If you have the chance to work with her, take it. You’ll be in the best hands.”
